Interview 06: On Saturday May the 28th I found this lump. I went to NHS Direct and read that any lumps or swellings in the neck report to your doctor immediately. Of course it was a bank holiday, wasn't it.
Interview 22: Because you go through a series of tests and so on, the diagnosis kind of drips out almost.
Interview 12: And my first thought as I walked out was, I'm 36 years old, I've got three children and I'm going to die. I think that's the only time I ever said that though.
Interview 16: I think the worst, the worst part is -, the worst part that I've, that I remember really well was the watching and waiting [‘watch and wait’] policy.
Interview 33: And that and that-, and I do feel like that it's-, it’s something that happened and something that I learned from. But it's very it's-, it's further away and it's a kind of a thing that that has formed me but it's it doesn't define me.
